About

Hey, I'm Inès Aisha.

I’m French, Moroccan, and Algerian.
I speak French, English, Darija (Moroccan) and Spanish. In that order.
I'm 100% Amazigh (ⵣ) by ethnicity.

I've also lived in way too many places: born in Paris suburbs, moved to Morocco at 8 (not my idea), studied in south of France, lived in Mexico, England, Paris Paris this time, and now Bali. At this point, I should probably collect stamps.

In France, I was "the beurette" (meaning the "Arabic girl" but in a weird/sexual way), or the "bourgeoise" for my French cousins.
In Morocco, I was either "the wesh wesh girl" (ghetto girl), the Algerian or "the Moroccan girl who cannot speak her own language".
I've never been the right identity in the right room.
People always focus on what makes you different I guess.

I choose to write in English because I’m too shy to write in my first language.
It’s my way of sharing my truth without feeling too exposed.

On LinkedIn, I’m a digital product manager.
On Instagram, I’m a boxer, singer, and guitar-player.
On Threads, I'm a marketing coach for music artists.

So who am I?

Honestly, I’m still figuring it out. But I can tell you what I do.

I build things. I write things. I bake things.

I build tools because I love turning messy chaos into simple systems.
Standardizing, streamlining, making it make sense. My first love.

I write songs and essays because it’s cheaper than therapy, and I get to be dramatic and talented. Two birds, one stone.

And I bake my own desserts because I’m addicted to sugar and the whole test-and-learn process. I’m basically out here developing dessert prototypes.
It makes me feel like a mad scientist. Another childhood dream I didn't follow.

Anyway, today I'm 30.
Still scattered. Still chaotic. Still figuring it out.
But at least now I have a website.

You are welcome 🤍
